The Role of Professionalism in Advancing Legal Career Options for Women In Georgia

Approximately 37% of all lawyers are women. The first part of this two-part CLE provides a professionalism review that goes back in time, reviewing each decade and the role that professionalism played and plays for women in law. The second part of the CLE is a panel discussion by women for all to hear about some of the varied impacts that diversity and unconscious bias have on women as they practice law. It is a candid discussion to remind us all to be aware of our thoughts and actions and to consider how our biases may impact others.
