Opportunities exist to represent asylum applicants in brief and discrete credible fear interviews, as well as in more involved proceedings in the US Immigration Court. There are also opportunities to assist in brief writing, legal research and collecting country and human rights reports. Volunteers are welcome in all spects of this process and this seminar will teach volunteers about the asylum practice and procedures, as taught by experienced attorneys.
